Dayne Train.
West Texas kid. National champion. Still competing. Now I build athletes.
THE STORY
I grew up in West Texas, a long way from where the recruiters usually look. Nobody handed me a spot. I was an all-state linebacker for two years in high school, and I earned my way onto the roster at Texas A&M–Commerce.
As a true freshman, I was on the 2017 team that won the NCAA Division II national championship, 35–17 in Kansas City. I kept playing for a program that made the playoffs the next two seasons, until COVID ended it.
I studied kinesiology at A&M–Commerce. Football taught me what hard work looks like. Kinesiology taught me why it works.
STILL IN THE ARENA
I don't coach from the sideline of my own life. I still compete in CrossFit, including TFX and the 806 Classic, where I took 5th place in RX. I still play basketball, softball and volleyball every week. And right now I'm training for the StrongFirst Beast Tamer challenge: a strict press, a pistol squat and a pull-up, each with a 48 kg (106 lb) kettlebell.

WHERE I COACH
I coach at Extreme Studio Performance in Farmers Branch / Addison (Dallas). I train pre-high school, high school and college athletes from schools including St. Mark's, ESD, Highland Park, Jesuit, Parish and Prince of Peace, across football, basketball, baseball, lacrosse, tennis, soccer, track, volleyball and more. I also coach busy adults who want to keep training like athletes. Can't get to Dallas? I coach online with weekly calls.
I've been the kid nobody was looking at. I know what it takes to get seen and to stay on the field. Let me show you the way.
